Cake & Ingredient Availability
All cakes are subject to ingredient availability and production capacity. We reserve the right to suggest alternative flavors or designs of equal or greater value if specific ingredients are unavailable. In the event that we cannot fulfill your order, we will contact you to arrange a suitable alternative or provide a full refund.
3Orders and Payment
Order Process
When you place an order with Jaytal House Of Cake:
- •You will receive an order confirmation via phone call or email
- •Your order is not confirmed until we send you a confirmation message with your order number
- •We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason
- •You are responsible for providing accurate delivery/pickup information including recipient name, address, and phone number
- •Custom cake orders require advance notice (typically 2-7 days depending on complexity)
Payment Methods
Jaytal House Of Cake accepts the following payment methods:
Cash
Payment can be made in cash upon pickup or delivery. Please ensure you have the exact amount or change ready.
M-PESA
Send payment to our M-PESA number which will be provided upon order confirmation.
Card Payment (Visa/MasterCard)
We accept Visa and MasterCard payments for your convenience.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order by contacting us via phone at +254 793 752 542 or email at jaytalhouseofcake@gmail.com at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup/delivery time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before may not be eligible for a full refund if production has already started.
4Delivery & Pickup
Service Areas
We offer both pickup and delivery services in Nairobi and surrounding areas in Kenya. Delivery fees may vary based on your location and will be communicated before order confirmation. Our bakery is located in Nairobi for convenient pickup.
Delivery Times
We aim to deliver your cake on the date and time specified at checkout. However, delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Factors beyond our control (such as traffic, weather, or public holidays) may cause delays.
Pickup Instructions
For pickup orders, please arrive during your scheduled pickup time. Cakes must be picked up by the person who placed the order or an authorized representative. Please bring your order confirmation number.
Delivery Issues
- •You must provide accurate delivery address and recipient contact information
- •If the recipient is not available, we will attempt to contact them using the provided phone number
- •We are not liable for delays caused by incorrect address information or recipient unavailability
- •Please inspect your cake upon delivery/pickup and report any issues immediately within 24 hours
5Freshness Guarantee & Returns

Our Guarantee:
All cakes are baked fresh daily using premium ingredients. When properly stored, cakes will remain fresh and delicious for at least 2-3 days from delivery/pickup.
What We Cover:
- •Cake arrives damaged, crushed, or melted during transit
- •Wrong order delivered (different flavor or design than ordered)
- •Missing items (decorations, candles, or custom elements)
- •Quality issues upon delivery (cake doesn't meet our standards)
- •Failed delivery to the specified address on requested date
- •Significant deviations from agreed-upon custom design
Important:
Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery/pickup with photos. We'll provide either a free replacement or full refund, typically within 2-8 hours during business hours.
6Product Quality & Sourcing
Jaytal House Of Cake is committed to providing freshly baked, high-quality cakes made with premium ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers. We carefully select each ingredient to ensure the best taste and quality.
All our cakes are baked fresh daily in our kitchen. We work closely with reliable suppliers to maintain the highest quality standards and use only the finest ingredients.

7Cake Storage Responsibilities
To maximize the freshness and taste of your cake and maintain our freshness guarantee, proper storage is essential. Recipients are responsible for:
- •Storing cakes with buttercream or cream frosting in the refrigerator
- •Keeping fondant cakes in a cool, dry place (avoid refrigeration unless necessary)
- •Bringing refrigerated cakes to room temperature 1-2 hours before serving
- •Covering leftover cake with plastic wrap or storing in an airtight container
- •Keeping cakes away from direct sunlight and heat sources
- •Consuming within 2-3 days for optimal freshness and taste
Note: Natural staleness after 3 days or damage due to improper storage is not covered by our guarantee.
